Latest news of our sawmill

Our summer holidays ran from August 3 to 22, 2015, with activity resuming on Monday August 24 at 8:00 am.

During the summer break we installed a new vacuum lifter in the sawmill to improve stacking conditions and increase yield. Mrs. Constance DUBOIS also joined the company to strengthen the sales team, and our new website, compatible with smartphones and tablets, went live.

On the occasion of the Ligna show in Hannover, from May 11 to 15, the new handling vacuum lifter ordered by TARTERET PHILIPPE SA was presented on the JOULIN stand.

This investment was designed to improve the efficiency of sorting selected planks while reducing strenuous handling for operators. We also attended the Interzum show in Cologne from May 5 to 8, Hall 5.1 | Stand B-001.

Renowned for the quality of its oak resources, Tarteret Sawmill was featured in issue 6 of the magazine La Lettre B.

The report highlighted the wooden pavilions on Marseille's Vieux-Port, built with wide oak cladding supplied by our sawmill. It emphasized our capacity to deliver large custom sections quickly while maintaining the drying quality required for exterior architectural projects.

The renewal of ISO 9001 certification for Tarteret Philippe SA was successfully completed after a three-day inspection by Mr. Stephane JAGU from March 31 to April 2, 2014.

Our sawmill also took part in the Carrefour International du Bois in Nantes from June 4 to 6, 2014.

The whole team of TARTERET PHILIPPE SA wished everyone a Merry Christmas and an excellent year 2015.

The sawmill closed on December 24 at noon and reopened on January 5 at 8:00 am. At that time we also had a selection of exceptional logs available for sale.
