1- Purchases

We manage totally our round wood supplies, or which oak represents 90% of the total volume and the
remaining volume is composed of other local species such as Ash, Beech, Chestnut, Basswood, Cherry, Acacia, Alder,…

We log approx. 20000 m3 per annum, in a radius of 130 kilometers around our sawmill in the regions of Champagne, Burgundy, and Ile-de-France : Administrative Departements (Couties) of Aube (10), Haute Marne (52), Marne (51), Yonne (89), and Seine-et-Marne (77). 90% of our purchases are standing timber, bought directly from private forest cooperatives, individual owners, or through public auctions from the French National Forestry Office "O.N.F."

As we buy standing timber we manage the logging and hauling operations with local forestry partners, who follow
our strict specifications and are audited every year. To improve the preservation quality of our woods we harvest the
trees in dry & cold season, and in waning moon cycle only.



Transportation of the logs from the forest to our yard is done with our own logtruck.
The logs which are not sawn immediately are stored under water.


Our control of the whole round wood supply chain allows us to guarantee the origin of our woods, and to answer promptly and efficiently to our clients' diverse enquiries.
